Job Description:
The HOD Analyst’s role is to successfully serve as the primary support contact and expert for the application, with tasks including configuration, building, and installation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Configure, build, and install the application
  • Coordinate all issues that arise during the project for the respective application area
  • Analyze and make recommendations on work flows
  • Evaluate and make recommendations on policies, procedures, and constraints  related to the application
  • Investigate and document operational specifications and application functionality
  • Analyze workflows for modifications
  • Build and populate databases and tables during initial system configuration
  • Perform system testing and conversion data validation
  • Develop internal training procedures and training aids, train end-users in workflow and use of application
  • Troubleshoot issues that arise during training, go-live, and post-go-live periods

Job Requirements:

  • At  least two years Epic build and workflow experience
  • Epic training and/or certification
  • At least two years consulting experience
  • At least two previous implementations
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Willingness to travel 75%
  • Experience in unit, application and end to end testing
  • Technical and functional knowledge
  • Ability to work in small groups under tight project deadlines
  • Strong leadership and project management skills with the ability to effectively present information to clinical and business leaders within the organization
  • Excellent logic, verbal, and math skills
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented
