Job Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Function as technical lead for the planning, design, implementation, cut-over, testing and training of Unified Communications solutions for clients enterprise-class customers.
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Translate customer requirements into technical solutions
- Conduct site surveys and customer interviews to capture detailed technical requirements
- Perform in-depth technical designs for Unified Communications system solutions
- Conduct detailed design reviews with customers for UC solutions
- Inventory equipment
- Pre-stage and burn-in equipment
- Install equipment
- Configure UC and network equipment
- Cut-over voice communications systems
- Conduct testing of UC systems
- Provide end user and system administration training on UC systems
- Develop as-built documentation package, including design document, FMECA report, drawing package, call-flow diagram, etc
- Conduct knowledge transfer with SAT members concerning lessons learned from implementing solutions proposed by SAT
- Complete training per development plan and maintain certifications in accordance with focus area
- Assist Services Director with helping improve procedures and functions
- Ensure appropriate coverage for in-process opportunities while out of office for training, vacation, PTO, etc
Job Requirements:
- Thorough understanding of Cisco Unified Communications architecture
- Excellent writing skills required
- Excellent oral presentation skills required
- Certified in applicable technology field such as Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert (CCIE), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), etc
- Three or more years experience in designing and implementing complex network solutions
- Three or more years experience in designing and implementing enterprise unified communications solutions
